Tongues of Fire-Pastor Paul's Podcast Episode 119 Pt 1 'Resentments'

Ephesians
3:14-19
Paul's Prayer
14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

Tongues of Fire-Pastor Paul's Podcast Episode 118 Pt 2 'Making the 2nd Rate Into The 1st Rate'

Acts 6:1-7

The First Deacons
1 Now during those days when the disciples were increasing in number, the Hellenists complained against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution of food. 2 And the twelve called together the whole community of the disciples and said, "It is not right that we should neglect the word of God in order to wait on tables.' 3 Therefore, friends, 'select from among you seven men of good standing, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may appoint to this task, 4 while we for our part, will devote ourselves to prayer and to serving the word." 5 What they said pleased the whole community, and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, together with Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas and Nicolas, a proselyte of Antioch. 6 They had these men stand before the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.
7 The word of God continued to spread; the number of the disciples increased greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.

Tongues of Fire-Pastor Paul's Podcast Episode 116 Pt 2 'Let Us Look Upon The Faithful'

Psalm 101

David's desire for personal integrity
1 I will sing of loving kindness and justice,

To You, O LORD, I will sing praises.
2 I will give heed to the blameless way.
When will You come to me?
I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.
3 I will set no worthless thing before my eyes;
I hate the work of those who fall away;
It shall not fasten its grip on me.
4 A perverse heart shall depart from me;
I will know no evil.

David's desire for integrity in others
5 Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy;
No one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart will I endure.
6 My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me;
He who walks in a blameless way is the one who will minister to me.
7 He who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house;
He who speaks falsehood shall not maintain his position before me.
8 Every morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land,
So as to cut off from the city of the LORD all those who do iniquity.

'Miracles of Feeding & Shame of Waste'

How do you feed a city?
Listen to TED Talk Carolyn Steel: How food shapes our cities
.

Do we value food?
While 1 billion of us are obese and another 1 billion of us are starving,
half of the food produced in the world is thrown away.

What is our relationship with food?
Instead of apprehension and ignorance, could we merge the dichotomy of the urban and rural relationship to food by appreciation and education.

What is the future challenge of food distribution?

Is it that food producers bring more food to market for more people, or, is it to enable people to have a more direct relationship with the food they eat.

How would the elimination of food waste solve these challenges and strengthen the community?
Please leave your comments.

Tongues of Fire-Pastor Paul's Podcast Episode 115 Pt '2 Loves: Eros and Agape'

2 Corinthians 5:1-14

A Courageous Ministry
1 For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven, 3 inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked. 4 For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life. 5 Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge.
6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord— 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight— 8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. 9 Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad

A Dedicated and Reconciling Ministry
11 Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences. 12 We are not again commending ourselves to you but are giving you an occasion to be proud of us, so that you will have an answer for those who take pride in appearance and not in heart. 13 For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 14 For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died;
