As we run this lap, think about how birth is considered the beginning of a life. However, the birth of Christ was a continuation of his life in a different form, human form. He came from a spiritual life to a human, physical life. On the other hand, we are born in human form and continue life in a spiritual form. Christ's birth, an act of love, is an invitation to a spiritual life eternal for us. We must choose life or death. The choice is ours.
